SkepSun # 53 (08_25_2013)

On Freethought Radio, Dan Barker and Annie Laurie Gaylor celebrate the 93rd anniversary of Women’s Equality Day and the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King’s “I Have a Dream” speech and then talk with Hawaii state/church activists Holly Huber and Mitch Kahle who, as whistleblowers on behalf of the state, are suing churches, alleging they have defrauded the government by underpaying millions of dollars for the use of public schools.  After Freethought Radio, we’ll hear from Brian Dunning about whether there’s any truth behind the claims of “salt therapy” on his Skeptoid podcast and in hour two we hear a talk by Dr. Paul Offit, co-inventor of the rotavirus vaccine that saves hundreds of lives every day about the history of vaccines, vaccine denialism and vaccine fear-mongering.  Stay skeptical, y’all.
